The world became a much better place on this day back in 1977. Happy Birthday babe!
I'm the lucky one that gets to wake up beside you and be the first one to wish you the happiest of birthdays. Although the gifts are yours today, you have given us the most amazing gift we could ever ask for - the experience of inspiration, courage, perseverance, serenity, and light which radiate from every cell of your being. You are the light of the universe incarnate...and we are all lucky to know you.
A wise man reminded us the other day that the joy and spirit which is Corrina is not affected in anyway by her physical challenges. This is so true. Corrina's light shines brighter than ever, albeit in a more direct, efficient way. There is intention behind everything she does. Every word, every step is consciously addressed with a focus that is both simple, yet sublime. She is working hard to build her fortitude - both physically and mentally. Corrina is not letting any physical limitation intimidate her away from challenging and pushing herself to achieve her goals.
And to demonstrate that, here's a gift from Corrina to you, our community, on Corrina's birthday. Even though she sometimes favors a cane (less and less), Corrina can also scale a 25ft rock wall with one arm (and a little help from our friends...):
