A Good Visit

When I left last June after my visit I was not really happy with Corrina’s situation. All kinds of complications from the November infection and surgery just didn’t seem to be resolving. Corrina as usual was upbeat and fine. I was a mess.
In the intervening weeks Claudia took over and mastered wound dressings. David of course did his usual supportive magic (his behavior is the epitome of character) and when I returned in July what a great improvement in her status. I usually talk to Corrina on the phone every day and could witness her progressive improvement but getting to see her and be with her immensely improved my attitude.
Who is happy all the time? Not me, but Corrina seems pretty happy most of the time. She’s got her lover which is huge and she’s got her mom a foundation without fault. And she has a great schedule of training and development that keeps her busy. In fact, my visits just seem to fly by way too fast.
Many people are to thank for supporting this schedule.
Previous trips have been associated with significant unease. Surgeries, pseudo seizures, infections unknowns. Through it all Corrina has remained positive and upbeat and we have all been inspired and learned from her. This visit was a great pleasure and I am looking forward to the next to see what else she gets up to.
