Refining the art of waiting

I’m at Bradley waiting for flight to San Diego to visit Dylan and family. I booked this flight last August coming off a family vacation at lake sunapee New Hampshire. First time ever with Dylan and Corrina and their significant others and offspring on vacation. I’d be telling a story if I said there were more times than just once when I wondered what I was thinking when I planned that vacation. We are a blended family which makes life interesting but not complicated. Vacation was a success which we will repeat again and again to witness first hand the growth of the little ones and the deepening of our relationships.

I’m looking forward to being away for a week and spending time with Benjamin. Since he sees his Mimi most often on FT. He will have a much more difficult time pushing a button to turn his Mimi off. On the flip side, Corrina is looking forward to carving out some private time to develop her yoga practice and delve unencumbered into her meditation practice.

First and foremost I’m a mom. All the other roles I’ve taken on in my life pale in comparison to what these two special beings have given me every day from the minute they graced this earth.
