My son Dylan is not much of a social media guy and the details of Corrina's situation often make him sad so he has stayed away from this site. However, when he did get the details of the latest MRI he sent a very nice message to his sister which both he and Corrina decided to share here. I am very proud to be related to both of these loving people.

Dearest Corrina,

I finally had the balls to listen to the recording of your doctors visit, and I’m so glad that I did.

Any updates related to your condition are hard for me, even though in this case I knew it was positive news. I guess I’m taking the blind faith approach.

I have faith that you’re going to get better. I have faith that your support system is taking good care of you and making the decisions that you want them to make.

I contribute my opinion when asked but don’t want to add more opinions and potential for second-guessing. Especially since I’m not there day over day experiencing what you all are going through.

All of that being said, my confidence is in you Corrina, and if anyone can pull this off, it is you.

As I fight back my tears of joy for your recent improvements I think of all the good times we’ve had and lessons I’ve learned from you. While I look forward to many more, this unfortunate journey is an opportunity to learn even more from my independent and powerful big sister.

Love, Dylan
