Starting Team Lineup

Scouting's complete, the draft is done, trades have been finalized, and the official starting team is now assembled and already performing as swiftly and aggressively as we had hoped.

Not unlike the brave fighters of Seal Team-Six, I'm calling this task force Heal Team-C

Medically, the frontline Heal Team-C is comprised of:

Radiology (UCONN): Charles ("Charlie") Rutter, MD
Neuroncology (St. Francis/Yale): James "Dr. V" Vredenburgh, MD

Together, these experienced leaders are going all-in to push this terrible disease back, but what we love and appreciate more than anything is that they are focused on a life- first perspective, instead of perseverating on the disease itself.

We all want to fill Corrina with joy and continue to engage in what makes her HER. Yes, there is a new norm, but by helping Corrina connect with the inner joy that has fueled her so well to this point, her mind will remind her body that it has all it needs to heal.

And that's where you all come in. You are all a part of Heal Team-C. Thank you for answering this call of duty. None of us asked for this, but we're all connected and we're all in this together. We each have our roles and everyone is performing exceptionally. Your words and actions reinforce our life-first approach. Your support continually reminds Corrina of the beauty and strength she has inside of her.

That support provides all of us with the continued ability to love ourselves and love this life.
