Organizing Support

The outpouring of support we've received from all of you has been incredible. Without question, the first silver lining visible in all of this has been witnessing the magnitude to which the community has rallied to provide Corrina (and her family) with support. "Thank you" doesn't begin to frame our gratitude adequately.

Honestly speaking, it's been hard to keep up with and and so we've begun to organize tools which will allow us to better receive and ultimately take advantage of your kind offers of support more effectively.

If you visit the 'Ways To Help' section of the Caringbridge site, you'll see that we have begun to list a variety of resource links.

We have a volunteer sign up link, which can be accessed there or directly via this link: https://goo.gl/forms/IpEKszEztBuJNZB93 Please use this form to offer your availability for any ways you think you might be able to contribute support whether it be cooking a meal, offering therapy or a massage, performing stand up comedy, whatever...it's all appreciated.

In addition to the volunteer signup, we also have a link to a form (https://goo.gl/forms/dZTsHolhASzdi3cv2) in which you can directly send us links or other resources that you think would be valuable to share. Whether it's a support group, conference, clinical trial, blog, book, funny video, whatever...This format will collect and deliver your ideas in a much more organized way than simply replying to journal entries on Caringbridge.

We also have started a GoFundMe campaign. This is twofold: Funds raised here will enable Corrina to take advantage of the naturopathic treatment plans that we feel are hugely beneficial, but not covered by insurance. It has also been created in response to the many of you who have wanted to donate and have only been presented with the options provided by Caringbridge. Your generosity has been tremendous and we feel the donations provided have already funded Caringbridge well for some time to come. We'd now like to direct the funds towards an outlet we can control which we know will have the maximum impact for Corrina.
