Declutter time & ready for sunshine…

I helped Corrina this past weekend with cleaning her closet and bureau of winter clothes to make room for spring and summer gear. So much emotion and attachment to clothes - fond memories of a warm summer day when a favorite, comfy tank top is pulled from the storage container and wonder whether or not it's up for another New England summer. Even if it's not, there are too many memories attributed to this top to not put it in the drawer for the summer of 2019. We laughed, we got frustrated with one another, we filled bags for goodwill, and after 2-1/2 hours with everything in its respective drawer, bin, storage container or hanger, we congratulated ourselves on accomplishing another seasonal clearing of closets & drawers. We're ready to welcome warmth and sunshine into our lives.

Also there were two major milestones last week - #1 I am now an official state retiree; and, the most noteworthy, #2 Corrina has not had a hospital stay for 2 months!

P.S. Thank you for all the spring bouquets that arrived Easter weekend on Corrina's front porch creating a miniature Elizabeth Park bulb garden in Corrina and David's home.

Sending all of you big love on this beautiful May day.
